About Vidyadhan

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program from Sarojini Damodaran Foundation supports the college education of meritorious students from economically challenged families. The students are selected after completion of 10th grade /SSLC through a rigorous selection process, including a test and an interview. Currently Vidyadhan program has around 8000 students across the following states: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi, Ladakh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.

Those selected will be eligible for two two-year scholarships from the Foundation. If they continue to do well, they will be given a scholarship for pursuing any degree course of their interest; these scholarships are directly through the foundation or external sponsors who have registered with the Foundation. The scholarship amount for graduation courses varies from Rs 10,000 to Rs 75,000 per year, depending on the state, course, duration,n etc. The selected students will be required to attend the mentoring programs from the Foundation Vidyadhan Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for Vidyadhan Scholarship 2025

1. Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
2. Gender: This Scholarship is open to All Genders.
3. Categories: Applicable to all Categories.
4. Residency: Applicants must reside in one of the following states/regions: Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Delhi, Ladakh (Jammu & Kashmir), Goa, Odisha, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, West Bengal, or Uttar Pradesh.
5. Family Income: Annual family income must be less than Rs. 2 Lakhs.
6. Academic Requirements:
   • Applicants must have completed their 10th Grade/SSC exam in 2025.
   • A full A+ / A1 grade in the SSLC examination or CBSE Std X is required. For physically challenged students, a full A grade is necessary.
   • Applicants must have scored at least 90% or obtained a 9 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC exam.
   • For students with Disabilities, the Minimum Required Score is 75% or 7.5 CGPA.
7. Applicable Classes: This Vidyadhan Scholarship is Available For Students Entering Classes 11 and 12.

Note: The scholarship is open to All Indian Citizens who Completed Their SSC (10th-grade level) in the Eligible States listed Above Vidyadhan Scholarship.
